MOVING TO BANGALORE

Aptly called the Garden City of India, Bangalore is also known as the Silicon Valley of India. The official language spoken in Bangalore is Kannada and the people are called Kannadigas. However, in recent years, there has been a huge influx of people from across India and the world, owing to the fast-growing presence of MNC’s. People speak a range of languages that include English and Hindi and in the city centre getting around without any knowledge of local languages is not an issue.

The weather in Bangalore is pleasant throughout the year. Although in recent years, the pre-monsoon season (March to May) has gotten hot. Make sure that you dress comfortably according to the weather. The monsoon season sees a lot of rain and having some rain gear and footwear can be helpful, particularly if you bike or scooter around town.
