The school supports all faculty in families in securing their work visas.  All new teachers must obtain an employment visa for the sole purpose to work for the school for the duration of their contract.

The application process is slightly different in each country. Please make sure to follow the correct procedures at the Indian Embassy or Consulate that covers your jurisdiction.

It will be a one-year employment visa (multiple entries) and can be extended in India every year.  When needed, our HR Manager can help in locating the nearest embassy, consulate or 3rd party company that processes Indian work visas.

For non-teaching spouse and kids, this would be a multiple entry dependent visa. Visas are valid from the date of arrival, which means you should NOT apply for visa too far ahead of time.

They usually take 5–7 business days to process the application, if you sent the complete application package.

It may take longer in some cases.

Note that CIS supports dependents in securing visas, but the costs are shouldered by the faculty member.
